Stretching along Dundas Street West in the heart of Little Portugal, the museum is Canada’s first open-air museum of its kind—featuring over 35 large-scale murals by local and international artists.

A Museum Without Walls

Unlike traditional museums, the Dundas West Open Air Museum lives directly on the street—transforming everyday buildings into a vibrant, evolving gallery. Visitors can explore artworks that reflect social justice, migration, Indigenous culture, and the diverse communities that shape Toronto.

From striking international works to deeply local stories, each mural contributes to a larger narrative about the neighbourhood’s past, present, and future.
